Description

STEALTH GREEN

Vursa Braid Spinning by Fitzgerald Fishing is specially designed for spinning reels. It is designed to not wind knot and tangle up like most braids do when used with spinning reels. Vursa Spinning has a nice firm body and loads on and off the spool smooth so it provides a longer smoother cast. Saltwater inshore fishing is a situation where Vursa Spinning stands out, particularly for those using spinning reels.

This braid replaced a the top dog of castability in the industry

Posted by Eric on 28th Mar 2018

There's not much to say about braid. So I'll tell you a story. I have used Finn's wind cheater for years. I needed a smaller setup for wade and surf fishing. I ordered a Daiwa BG 3000 reel, and had an Aqua Dream rod in the shopping cart, and realized I had no Finn's anywhere in the house. Of course I follow Fitzgerald rods on social so naturally I've seen Vursa braid for some time now. I thought I'd give it a shot since I need braid, and I'm placing a rod order so it will arrive at the same time, and I can spool up immediately. Needless to say, I'm not going back to Finn's. The Vursa braid sails off of the spool so nicely. It literally sings like someone playing a glass harp when I cast.
