Words can't express the quality and value of ALL of Fitzgerald Fishing products. My comment is, Go check 'em out, pick you up a rod and reel, and don't forget the line. Grab some jigs too. You will be as they say, HOOKED!! Do it for you or someone else. Best move you can make.

All Purpose Series Casting

First the quality of the product is excellent! Now the only reason that I did not give it 5 stars was because I already have an ALL Purpose 7’ MH action and I wanted a bit less stiffness for throwing lighter jigs so I bought a 7-3 M and there truly is very little difference in the action or casting with the same reel and line on both. I do realize companies are all different in their ratings and also i bought on line. I know that I should do these kind of buys at a tackle shop but was so happy with my first rod I took the chance. Again this is not a quality issue as the product is EXCELLENT.

I purchased this rod for 1/2oz.-3/4oz. Jigs and on my 1st outing with it, it performed flawlessly. Plenty of backbone to get them out of the timber and super sensitive.

Best rod I’ve ever held in my hand. Very durable and love the guides and cork handle. Will definitely upgrade all my rods eventually to the all purpose series.

I am a saltwater inshore fishing guide. Rods are my tools. These are light and comfortable for my guests, look great, the action is impeccable. I wish I could attach photos to show what these “light” rods are capable of, when it comes to big Reds in southeast Louisiana. I’ll be sticking with this product.
