 Fitzgerald Rods adds to its list of highly successful professional anglers by signing FLW Tour Pro Bryan Schmitt from Deale, MD.  Bryan has over a half a million dollars in career earnings and is tied for the most career FLW Costa Series wins.  When asked about his decision on choosing Fitzgerald Rods Bryan responded with, “I bought several Fitzgerald Rods a few years ago and they quickly became one of my go to rods.  Their rods fit my style of fishing perfectly and they have a great selection to fit every need. Fitzgerald Rods Signs Bassmaster Elite Series Pro Micah Frazier

 Belleview, FL - Fitzgerald rods continues to expand its rapidly growing brand by adding another Bassmaster Elite Series Pro to its staff in Micah Frazier.   The Newnan, Georgia pro will be entering his 3rd year on the Elite Series in 2017.

  "I'm excited to join the Fitzgerald team.  I love the no-nonsense build of the rods and the actions of the rods that will be suited to my style of fishing" explains Micah, “Fitzgerald Rods has quickly built a reputation of having some of the strongest and most sensitive rods on the market.”

  Bassmaster recently ranked the young angler the 7th best fisherman under the age of 30.   Micah has already qualified for a Bassmaster Classic and has 2 top 10’s after only 2 years fishing the Elite Series.

Fitzgerald Rods supporting Collegiate Anglers

Fitzgerald Rods is pleased to announce that they have teamed up with the LSU bass fishing team as well as the University of South Carolina’s Fishing Team. The University of South Carolina anglers have won back to back FLW National Championships in 2015 and 2016, while LSU has competed at a very high level with top finishes in recent years.   “We are proud to support both schools and are always finding ways to get the youth involved in this sport”, says Rich Howes the Marketing Relationship Manager for Fitzgerald Rods and 2014 Bassmaster Classic Qualifier.  “Both schools have a track record of competing at a high level and they both jumped at the opportunity to use our high quality rods and accessories.” 

Fitzgerald Rods looks forward to both schools using the newly released Vursa Rod Series, Bryan Thrift Signature Series, Classic series, and Stunner HD series to compete in 2017.
