This rod is absolutely amazing! A lot of punching rods are heavy and not very sensitive but the Titan HD defies all. I can flip an 1 1/2 ounce weight all day with no fatigue and it is very powerful. Fish literally do not stand a chance if you have this rod in your hand, you won't regret it!
I first was introduced to Fitzgerald rods during a trip to Lake Okeechobee. I thought I knew what a good flipping rod til I used the 7'8" Heavy Titan HD! This rod is the perfect combination power and action for punching thick mats, or flipping heavy cover. The rod loads up perfect so you don't rip the hook/bait out of the fishes mouth, but has more than enough power to horse the biggest fish out of the thickest cover. Boat flipped fish over 7 pounds with this rod! It is THE BEST Flippin rod on the market hands down. Get one.
This is hands down the best flipping rod I have ever put my hands on. Punching matted vegetation is my favorite way to catch fish and over the past couple years ive tried out many different rods but the Titan HD makes them all obsolete. The build, balance, and action are as perfect as they could possibly be. Until you hold and use one yourself you'll never understand how perfect of a rod this is. If I have any complaint about the rod it would be that I only ordered 1 of them! Do yourself a favor and sell all the other rods you have that you "thought" were flippin sticks and buy the real deal. The Fitzgerald Titan HD
I've been using my 7'8 Titan HD Flipping/Pitching rod for about 2 weeks now. Let me tell you, this rod is strong and light weight. I have pulled out some huge fish with this rod with confidence. The craftsmanship is superb. This rod is also very balanced I can flip/pitch all day long and not be fatigued at the end of the day. If you want a quality rod for flipping/pitching look no further.
